October 23, 2026. Meta has announced new management tools for Forum, its app for Facebook Groups, including AI checks against group rules and a shared content calendar.

Admin AI can label pending posts as likely following or potentially breaking the rules an admin has set. It can also draft posts for review. Admin Assist gains more flexible automation through combinations of conditions such as post length, links and previous moderation actions.

A clearer view for the team

Admins and moderators can view scheduled posts in one calendar. Meta also says admins can use AI to help draft and schedule up to five posts at once, and can pin an individual comment to highlight a useful reply.

Forum is available in the United States on iOS and Android using a Facebook account. This announcement should not be read as confirmation of Canadian availability.

Keep the review step

For a group team, a shared calendar is a practical place to start: it makes overlapping plans easier to spot. Treat an AI rule label as a suggestion to inspect, especially when a post involves humour, local context or a disagreement.

Before enabling an automated rule, agree on who reviews its effects and how members can ask for a decision to be reconsidered.
